Tequila Tristan Blanco is made 100% Blue Agave Weber.The Agave plants are grown for at least 8 years until they are matured enough to be harvested.
Only healthy and good quality agave is chosen for Tristan. They use low land agave which tends to be less fibrous and allows them to keep Methanol (wood alcohol) at the lowest levels possible.

Tequila Tristan Reposado is made 100% Blue Agave Weber
Part of the Tequila Blanco rests in American white oak barrels for 9 months. The barrels are used standard Bourbon Barrels of 200 liters capacity. The American white oak grows in the east of the USA. Its wood is very dense contains a lot of natural sugar.

Tequila - Tristan - Añejo

Tequila Tristan Anejo is made 100% Blue Agave Weber.
Part of the Tequila Blanco rests in American white oak barrels for 2 years. The barrels are used standard Bourbon Barrels of 200 liters capacity. The American white oak grows in the east of the USA. The tree grows rather fast for an oak tree and is therefore a bit expensive than in Europe counterpart. Its wood is very dense contains a lot of natural sugar, which are later transferred into the typical Bourbon Vanilla taste. They flame the barrels after use them 5 times. They flame with wood form barrels which can’t be use anymore in order to maintain the pure white oak flavors.

Tequila Tristan Extra Anejo is made 100% Blue Agave Weber.
For the Anejo , they used older barrels, which have been previously used for aging in order to have less flavors from the barrels released into the Tequila..

Tequila - Tristan - Añejo Cristalino

Tequila Tristan's 7 years old Single Barrel was aged in white american oak barrel number 888, stored in a semi-open barn next to the town Tequila. The barrel was exposed to different temperature and climate changes nevertheless preserving the typical agave flavors during the years.
The intensity of agave flavors in tequila depends on the maturity of the agave plant used. It is very important to choose agave plants matured for at least 8 years in orden to obtain a satisfactory result.
